Job Description:

Responsibilities

Assist in the development, implementation and analysis of features spanning a full web-based cloud application stack.
Participate in the development and documentation of user stories.
Actively participate in code reviews.
Engage in agile/scrum meetings (Daily scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo, etc.).
Debug and troubleshoot complex issues to resolve defects and reduce technical debt.
Work in concert with QA engineers, striving towards a shared goal of delivering code quickly and efficiently while ensuring all quality gates are met along the way.
Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques to design, implement, modify and support solutions that may impact the broader team.
Lead by example; demonstrate a passion for software development daily that motivates and inspires other engineers.

Qualifications

Strong Angular and Typescript knowledge
Strong Java knowledge
Strong JavaScript, HTML/CSS development experience
Database interaction with basic/general MySQL skills
Experience working with applications utilizing web APIs/Restful services
Ability to determine appropriate use of filters & directives vs components
Ability to wire up new Angular modules
Ability to compose new interfaces for stronger typing
Ability to search through library documentation and problem solve
Ability to improve, extract, and simplify existing code for less fragile unit testing
Ability to navigate Model and Service Factory documentation independently
Ability to contribute to common component strategy

Responsive and adaptive design experience
Understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies
Spring Framework, Spring JPA / Hibernate, Spring MVC
Servlet containers (JBoss/Tomcat)
Database design, data modeling, and advanced SQL knowledge
